pretty purses

Some little purses are as pretty as jewels. I especially like the the piggy purse below which makes me think of "turning a sow's ear into a silk purse." The workmanship in these little evening bags is exquisite. I wish I could make any of these little purses but especially the blue one to the left.

rings for some hands

I like to play this game where I find rings for bare hands shown in pictures. Here I've matched up hand and rings very conservatively. But I like to go in the opposite direction as well and find really radical rings to put on these hands as well!

xtreme

Two beautiful rings to go with a fantasy outfit of extreme whimsey. The necklace and earrings above are contemporary. I don't think you could get up this staircase in this dress! Talk about putting flowers in your hair!

Dolce and Gabbana gown

If I were going to wear this beautiful Dolce and Gabbana gown I'd ditch the mummy headgear for some cool dangling ear cuffs. I don't know which shoes I pick. Maybe even something more fashion forward than the ones shown here. But I'd definitely want two large rings, one traditional and one very modern. Even though I'm all about necklaces, I think I'd leave the neckline bare to emphasize the cut of the gown.

organic simplicity

I'm a clutter bug. I like to have an information rich environment. But I admire organic simplicity from a distance. I wish I had the discipline to wear cloths that are as simple as the black dress above. And I love to see nature up close whether in jewelry design or architecture.

subtle glamor

Like the chandelier in the subtle bedroom, I always think you should wear one bold piece of jewelry with all the dainty things. In this case the bold turquoise ring. If everything is small scale it just seems as if you will wash away.

hidden spaces

I love jewelry with secrets.  This bird locket opens up to show a startling sculpture of Icarus falling a pic of which can be found at terrykolvalcik.com. Below are other examples of hidden spaces. Directly below is my poison ring in the shape of a poisonous frog. Originally it held perfume but these rings get the name poison rings because they traditionally held poison. I don't know whether for yourself or someone else; I guess circumstances depending.
