Here's an interesting chart that shows the size of diamonds on the hand. It's taken from boards.weddingbee.com. I wish I could blow this pic up to life size. But even at this scale it gives you some idea of what size diamond as well as shape you'd most like to have. For me the rounder, the bigger, the better!
