some beads

Here are some beads where the fake and the real go together really well. The turquoise is that real strand that I said before that I wear with everything. The fake carved coral beads are plastic from Great Northern right here in Quincy and the silver and coral beads could have started out in Afghanistan and ended up as festival jewelry at some Greatful Dead concert. Who knows? Everything is beautiful in its own way. You don't have to be rich to enjoy beads. They turn up at thrift stores for a dollar or two all the time. And that includes trade beads and Venetian glass! It's like learning to spot shells or arrow heads; practice helps a lot.
